Are you drowning in a sea of tasks with no lifeline in sight?
Are you excited to use Tana for productivity but overwhelmed too?
Are you ready for a powerful productivity boost?
Unlike other productivity tools, Tana for Action combines the power of task and life management with the supercharged notetaking of Tana, which simplifies every aspect of your life and work. Effortlessly keep tabs on your day-to-day work, your active projects, your personal interactions and conversations, and your long-term intentions, all the the same environment.
When productivity systems try to be "one-size-fits-all" they're usually "one-size-fits-none" instead. Tana for Action provides building blocks in Tana for your "life and work toolkit," with structures for tasks, projects, recurring tasks, procedures, templates, roles, and more. They are pre-built to relate to each other in logical ways, but remain flexible so you can build with them as suits your life and work.
Gain lifetime access to the Tana for Action community. Whether you're a productivity pro or just starting, you'll find guidance, tips, and a supportive community to help you succeed.
Tana for Action was created by productivity expert and Tana Ambassador R.J. Nestor, author of the new book The Rhythms of Productivity. He hosts LIVE Support & Development sessions to help you get the most out of your productivity toolkit in Tana.
If you've used any previous version of Tana for Tasks, you'll have access to Tana for Action. Dive straight into enhanced productivity without additional purchases. Follow the instructions to upgrade, and if you get stuck, attend a live session for assistance.
Tana for action is only $59, and for a limited time that includes any future updates too! Don't miss out!
I started using Todoist in 2014 when I first read David Allen's Book Getting Things Done. In 2020, I moved my GTD system to Roam Research.
With my notes and tasks in the same environment, I could add components from Bullet Journaling: my daily agenda and log. I could also perform reviews of my system more reliably, because I could capture, in notes, the changes I wanted to make to my work and workflows.
Then, in September 2022, two weeks before Tana was publicly announced, I received a demo that blew my mind. Tana was everything I loved about Roam combined with the power to capture structure that I always envied in Notion.
With the power of Tana, I created structures for recurring tasks, procedures, project templates, review dashboards, and a variety of note types that would have been convoluted or impossible in Roam.
And while creating those tools can be complicated, using them is simple. Far from making my productivity more complex, Tana has made it easier and more fluid. I get more work done than ever, and because I can keep an eye on my big picture in Tana, too, I know that work is serving my longer-term aspirations.
I've done the complicated stuff for you. By installing Tana for Action in your Tana workspace, you'll save time, effort, and money, and you won't get mired in confusion over how to build task, project, or big-picture workflows in Tana on your own.
You'll get the Tana framework of my own Action-Powered Productivity approach—combining the best features of GTD and Bullet Journaling into an easy to use, action-based productivity toolkit.

Tana for Action is a task app that lives in a notes app. Bringing these components into the same environment provides tremendous flexibility and power, but Tana for Action greatly simplifies the learning curve for getting to a functional implementation. You get the power of notes and tasks together, with the ease of using a separate dedicated task app.
When you purchase Tana for Action, you will receive a link (via the payment processor, Gumroad) that will connect you to all the relevant spaces in the Action-Powered Productivity community (hosted via Circle). The app is in the first section of tutorials, and can be installed using the instructions you receive there.
All content is available to you indefinitely. This includes future updates and upgrades to the Tana for Action content.
One section of the tutorials will demonstrate upgrading techniques. If you need additional guidance, attend one of the live Support & Development sessions and I’ll help you out!
The refund policy is simple: If you install the app and complete the first three sections of tutorials within 14 days of purchase and you determine Tana for Action isn’t for you, DM me in the community to request a full refund, no questions asked. Beyond 14 days from your purchase, no refunds will be processed.
